I’m a competitive powerlifter.  In 2015 I set a World Record in the squat, but to get in position with the bar across my back I needed to have my training partner physically push me into position because my shoulders were so restricted and painful.  Ultimately, I required hemi-cap shoulder surgery and afterwards was referred to Jim. Jim worked aggressively to restore my strength and mobility, allowing me to return to competition.  He had a basic  understanding of my sport, but was eager to learn the details that are necessary for world class performance and incorporate those needs into my training.  He not only pushed me as hard as possible, but kept me safe by insuring I didn’t push myself too far at any given time while getting back to the highest performance level.  I heartily recommend his services to those athletes looking to improve their performance or return to play.
